Ingredients
3 eggs
2 cup brown sugar or white sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup milk
1/2 cup cacao
3 cups self rising flour
Preparation Method
- Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 9 inch loaf pan.
- Add eggs, and sugar mix with electric mixer 3 minutes. Add vanilla mix well.
- Add vegetable oil and milk mix 5 minutes.
- Add flour mix well and then Pour batter into prepared pan leaving 1 cup batter.
- Add cacao to 1 cup batter mix well.
- Pour cacao mixed batter to pan and make swirl.
- Bake 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely. .

ReplyDeleteHow much does the brown sugar vs white sugar alter the taste? I'm a huge fan of molasses, so I think that I would try it with the brown. :)

ReplyDeleteI too it at work. Everyone liked with brown sugar. I use to use white sugar.
I think that I will make this for our family reunion over Labor Day weekend. I'll let you know how it turns out! :)
