cake with cacao ( kakaolu kek )

 I was  interested in cooking when I was 16 years old.It was almost 34 years ago.I don't remember where I got this recipe from. I was baking this cake all the time. I don't even look at  the recipe anymore. It is in my mind. I made some changes over the years.  I baked recently and I took at work, all my coworkers loved it. They finished it very quickly. Okay, here is the recipe,
Ingredients
3 eggs
2 cup brown sugar or white sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup milk
1/2 cup cacao
3 cups self rising flour

Preparation Method

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 9 inch loaf pan.
  •  Add eggs, and sugar mix with electric mixer 3 minutes. Add vanilla mix well.
  • Add vegetable oil and milk mix 5 minutes. 
  • Add flour mix well and then Pour batter into prepared pan leaving 1 cup batter.
  • Add cacao to 1 cup batter mix well.
  • Pour cacao mixed batter to pan and make swirl.
  • Bake 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely. .

  3. How much does the brown sugar vs white sugar alter the taste? I'm a huge fan of molasses, so I think that I would try it with the brown. :)

    I too it at work. Everyone liked with brown sugar. I use to use white sugar.
